RAIN MOFOS RAIN!!! HAHAHAHAHAHAHA
God this has been a near disaster of a week, especially today.
Let's just say I've been trying to get a whole bunch done and not actually getting things done, including
- fill out applications I should have had done Monday and instead only finishing them today
- get screencaps off some dvds so I can return them to netflix
- buy parts for my mother's rear brakes so we can bring her car in before the semester fully ends... and of COURSE the parts for some reason were not stocked so they had to special order them... never again O'Rly Auto Parts.
- Work an entire day getting two different projects for one class done, on Tuesday. It didn't help that the teacher had been so picky about my previous shop projects and had me do more of them, so I became very behind in all my shop work because of that.
- Do three finals
- pick out shoes and insoles, and I haven't had the time to look at shoes, and I had to have either one or the other by Friday, and I'll explain why.
Long Walk is long
My grandfather wants to do this walk that's about 30 or so miles, in two days. There's no way I'm going to walk 15 miles a day without some good shoes and insoles under my feet. He said he wanted to do it Tomorrow, Friday. I have yet to even have the time to look at shoes at all this week or last week. Plus I have yet to decide which insoles I like better.
Which is why I hope it keeps raining, and raining, and raining, so we can postpone this walk-of-death until later.
Also, seeing as my grandfather is mucho religious, I can't say I'm looking forward to the conversations that may occur during this trip.
