Do I still have a job?

Last week I was scheduled 5 days. Then, on one of the days I was off, when I had plans to eat out with my mother, I was called in for that night. I was annoyed to say the least

Awake is the new asleep.

I sleep during the day and work at night.

Hmmm... Then I guess asleep is the new awake, too. Or something like that.

Sounds like the manager really needs to come up with a better system of deciding who gets off and when.
