Superbowl commercials

Feb 11, 2006 18:04

I watched all the Superbowl commercials back to back (you can find them on Google or Ifilm), and some of them weren't so bad...

The Good
- The Ameriquest commercials, especially the one where he killed the fly with the paddles and went "That killed him" right as the wife and kid walked in.
- The Dove Self Esteem spot was quite possibly the best commercial there.
- United Airliness "Dragon", proving once again you don't need CG to make an awesome and creative commercial
- Mastercard's "MacGuyver", Richard Dean still has it!
- Vault's killer robo scarecrow.
- Pizza Hut's Miss Piggy video, which compared to the shitty Jessica Simpson one was win.
- Motorolla's "Paperboy"
- Budweiser's "The Wave"
- Degree's "Stunt City"
- Sprint's Burning Couch with the Benny Hill chase music.

The Ok
- The Sierra Mist commercial with the airport security (I wonder if Zeus has that problem...)
- Capitol One's Skiing in Summer
- Pirates of the Caribbean
- V for Vendetta
- Full Throttle's "Auto Melee"
- Fed Ex's Cavemen
- Budweiser's Clydesdale, Hidden Bud Lights, Secret Fridge, and Touch Football
- Motorolla's Pebble
- Land Rover under Tokyo (those are actual shots of Tokyo's underground)
- Emerald Nuts
- Ford's "Not easy being green"
- Career Builder's Monkey commercials

The revolting
- MI:III, Tom Cruise needs to be locked away for being insane.
- Budweiser's "Roof" and "Superfan" (the streaking sheep)
- Every one of the Pepsi commercials. Every one.
- The Burger King commercial... god why did they have to destroy The King's image in that way?! He's supposed to be EVIL!
- The McDicks commercial with the hampster sucked too
- Escalade commercials are for retarded rappers and people with too much bling
- So are Hummer commercials
- Go Daddy will never get my money now!
- Neither will Pizza Hut for that Jessica Simpson commercial
- ANYTHING heavy can be a crime deterrant, you morons!
(None of the suck commercials got linked because they suck too much to be linked)

That's all I think.
