This one's for you Garrett
I was reading people's updates since I haven't been on LJ since...dear God, I don't know when, and I saw Garrett's subject as being the king of updates and Ashley the scum of updates. (Okay, that's not exactly what it said, but that's the jist of it - and i will get revenge- ).
My summer's been pretty good. I've been working a lot, which isn't good, but I've made money which is great. I went to Wonderland on Saturday, I still want to go with Franny one of these days. *sigh*. It was fun though, but a little busy even though the weather was a little poopy.
I'm on my way to Cancun in 9 days (August 25th, for those who don't want to do the math) and I'm uber excited. My parents have owed me a vacation for a while now and it's finally coming. Yeah, I'm going with my parents, but my friend Paris (kim) is coming so it'll be fun. We don't have to see my parents really, just 3 meals with them in the week.
I'm in Brantford right now watching my cousin's baby. Today's my last day, which is great cause it's boring here. I don't know Brantford so I stay in all day and watch Dora the Explorer until Abbey (the baby) has gone to bed. Why am I in ECE? I don't know. But what counts is that I still enjoy it. And frankley, that baffles me cause I feel like I shouldn't be enjoying it. Is this my future? I don't want to be worrying about that.
Does anyone find it weird to say that you're 20? The other day I said I was 20, but forgot that was my age, I was trying to give an old age. It creeps me out. In 5 - 10 years, the majority of us will have, or already have been settling down, getting married, having children, having a "career" instead of a "job" and its INSANE!
