Damn to hell everyone who's on reading week right now. EVERYONE is. EVERYONE...I think I'm gonna say that a few more times..>EVERYONE EVERYONE EVERYONE!!! Except Stoga. You all suck. I'm bitter haha sorry.
I was really pissed at placement today. My cooperating teacher is a whorefaced bitch. My last placement I got an 88% and now I'm working twice as hard for them and shes disappointed with how I'm doing because I'm not "meeting their standards" I'd like to rip her hair out right now...This isn't very ECE of me to day, but fuck that.
I had a good weekend. Friday night I bought The Notebook and watched it with my dog (I'm just that much of a loser) and then Wes came over after he got back from school in London. Saturday I worked a long boring day but celebrated that by getting hammered at Trappers in Guelph with the people I work with. That was a good night. Strangely enough, some of my best drinking nights occurr with those I work with, but they're all pretty much around my age. Sunday I went and watched Wes' brothers hockey game and he and I juts chilled at my house while we got snowed in for life...or just a day.
You have no idea how much I need this reading week. I know I just got back from Christmas not too long ago, but I'm so friggen drained its ridiculous.
Strangely, Schwalmy (Firefighter #2)was hitting on me last night and he hasn't done that in a while. it figures he'd do that after I start seeing someone. For the first time, I remember something I learned in psychology. It's always push and pull...one person will attach and the other with repel. If the person who was attached begins to repel, the repeller with attach. So "hard to get" really isn't just same cheapo lame excuse to let girls be teases...it's actually a psychological theory..well aint that some shit.
I had a little boy at darecare tell me I was beautiful. I know it's not that great cause he's 3 and they don't really understand attractiveness, but it was nice to hear. He got extra pasta for lunch today because of that ;). Apparently I'm a sucker for suckups.
So next Wednesday, I'm on my way to Durham to hit up pub and see my buddies whom I miss so much!! I'll remember to bring my trusty old sleeping bag so I can crash at rez. I think it's gonna be fun. I gotta remember to bring Franny's sweater and christmas card cause I'm a douche. At this school..there's people who remind me of my durham people, but aren't nearly as kickass......Paris (Kim) is my Fran, Foamy (Ian) is my Garrett, Sass (Cassandra) is my Meg, Derek is my Phil, Tighty (Dawn) is my Hobbles, Keri is my Ashley Collins, and the list probably goes on, but those are the main ones....It's pretty much by personality how I figure you guys out, along with the kind of bond I have.
I need to shower, I feel like I have kiddy germs rotting all over me...Aren't I hot?
