The second smoker was GREAT. We sounded pretty dang good. Dr. Black, Dr. Almquist, Dr. Brown, Dr. Locke, and Dr. Scott performed on it, too, which was very cool.
I, much like most everyone else, wished I had known it was an open recital... that was lame (letting us assume it was closed - as it was stated when first announced). But oh, well.
It was still good. My "Ave Maria" ensemble didn't get to perform, as too many members had night classes. Maybe we'll do an open recital again soon and can throw it on there.
Thanks to all the fellers that came to it. We had a good turnout again, and I got to meet and talk to a few more prospectives tonight that I didn't already know. I think I'm started to widdle down on my "yes" votes for bid night.
Lots of good things going on in life right now. Couldn't complain if I had to.
Oodles all around.
