This is a poem I wrote on May 3rd outside during a catastrophic thunderstorm! Ok, so it wasn't "catastrophic," but it was pretty severe. Just how I like it....
War of Angels
One Angel
One Entity
One, Lucifer
Bright and beautiful
And power hungry
Gain one, then two
An army of Angels
Conspiracy, envy
Hate
“Must take it!”
Heaven turns dark, it’s bright luster shadowed.
A strike, white hot, stabs here and there
While canon fire roars and shakes Paradise
Two sides combat
War of Angels
The Dark fights hard, but not enough.
Alpha Omega casts them down.
Tearing the sky, the Dark Prince falls.
The Fallen, the Forsaken, not far behind.
Tears rain down from the hole in the sky
As eternal darkness surrounds.
