When Sam got Zoe's message, he went to the house to offer his help, but he also wanted to see if the radio had been right about Hope and who she really was. For the moment, he was sitting on the couch watching Hope play with Grace, and trying not to let his head hurt too much over that.

Mary had delicious pie, her half-siblings were either with her other dad or in the other room (holy crap was Cas annoying with his angel stuff) and she just spotted her Uncle sitting on the couch. Life was pretty good at the moment.

"Hi, Uncle Sammy," Mary said, climbing up onto the couch. She was careful not to spill any pie because, hi, pie. "What's up?"

Sam had almost gotten used to being called Uncle, but that was with the kids he recognized. "Uh, hi," he said. He had to hand it to Dean that his kids were almost always cute. "Not much right now. Are you enjoying your pie?"

"Yeah-huh. Pie's my favorite," Mary said. She shot Sam a sideways glance. "...if you want some you're gonna have to get your own."

She wasn't much of a sharer and that went double when it came to pie.

Dean had round up all four of his kids and headed down into town and to the house. He stopped off on the way to buy the promised pie and had that with him when he made it to the house.

When she heard the sounds of people at the door, Zoe went over and opened it, smirking at the sight of Dean surrounded by children. "Well now, someone's been busy," she said.

"Hi Grandma!" John William greeted her. He was in a much better mood today since the talk they'd had the night before.
