The door to Zoe's office was closed, but the sign telling people to go ahead and knock was hanging off of the doorknob. Inside, Zoe was balanced on a chair as she sorted through the mess of papers that had slowly grown on top of her filing cabinets. Bridge knocks on the door to the Principal's office, trying to think about how to explain what he'd seen.

Zoe looks up, trying to shake off any ill feelings she still has. "Come in," she said.

Bridge opens the door and slips inside. Taking a deep breath, he started.

"Okay, um, this is gonna sound weird, but- something bad is happening," Bridge says nervously. "Yesterday it was just a creepy feeling, like something wasn't right, but then today..." he trails off, glancing at Zoe to see if she was believing any of this.

Zoe has learned better than to ignore students when they say something is wrong, so she's certainly listening now. "Then today, what?"

"In Xander's workshop, Lana yelled at someone who wasn't there. Except then I did a scan, and there *was* someone there, following her. A ghost, or a presence of *some* kind."

That got Zoe's complete attention. And apparently, it got Wash's attention too, enough that he reappeared by the door. "What do you mean, you did a scan?" she asked Bridge, focusing on him. "And this presence was with another student?"

"I can sense energy," Bridge explains "it's why I need to wear the gloves, since I can't really turn it *off*." The twinge is back, and he glances over towards the door as he continues. "Yeah, it was talking to her- taunting her, I think, but I wasn't close enough to hear what it was saying."

Before Zoe can say anything, Wash pipes up. "It was probably saying you're kind of crazy," he says, before looking at Zoe. "Honestly, what kind of kids do you have at this school?"

Zoe can feel herself pale a little, and just sighs.

Bridge, unable to ignore that twinge any longer, takes off a glove and focuses on Wash just in time to hear "...you're kind of crazy."

"I am *not*!" he scowls back at the ghost.

"You can hear him?" Zoe asks, sounding slightly relieved.

"You can hear me?" Wash adds. "Craaazy."

"You're not crazy," Zoe says quickly, shooting a dirty glance at the...whatever that looked like Wash. "And now I know I'm not either, thank you."

Zoe sees Wash open his mouth, and moves to speak over him. "So, there's someone else who's been seeing something like this too, you said?"

"And you think that whatever this is, it's bad?" Not that Zoe didn't agree with him, but she felt she needed to ask.
