Wow, we really are evil, aren't we? Still, this was a great read...even if I do feel kind of like a bastard now.

*clings* I feel awful, but um, pleased that it was a good story (that sounds wrong, that really does. Right, must right about Josh and how he had particular colour highlighters for particular aspects of the "Pretty Track")

That was intense and perfect and I REALLY hope there's some justice. Poor Ella :(

Yes, poor Ella (I think I'm going to be doing penance for this story for a while), but I can say there will be justice (or at least a Nate Fick smack down). But oh gosh, I'm glad it works and thank you for reading.

::Wibble::

No really... ::wibble::

Ella. Poor little, bitty, Ella-bella.

I really need to see some Ella + Brad/Nate cuddling and fluff and possibly the two of them having a tea party with her to make up for all of this.

And Uncle Ron needs to get those ballet shoes to her, ASAP, and perhaps a new doll or two, and poor itty bitty Ella!

Oh, I'm sorry *hands consoling delicious beverage of choice* I can assure you that you will be seeing some Ella + Brad/Nate cuddling and fluff in the near future (tea parties may be included, fairy tale telling definitely will be). Because I need to make myself feel better as well.

And yes, he does.

:O

“I’m sorry,” she whimpered, crying because it was all so overwhelming. “I'm sorry, Uncle Brad. I didn’t mean it. Uncle Nate, don’t be mad. I didn't mean it. I’m sorry."

I actually cried at this bit. Ella! Oh, it's not your fault :(:(

Is there another one to this!?

Oh Ella... m_buggie March 31 2009, 17:36:11 UTC
Ah, I see you've discovered my and melliyna's favorite hobby: inflicting heartache on our favorite characters - OC child included.

There's actually a kind of progression of fics for this particular arc.
It all begins with Dark Days Ahead in which Nate Fick gets his first death threat. Sorry, no Ella in that story but it's what kicks everything off.
An FBI Odyssey is next, where Gunny makes his first real appearance and Ella is mentioned.
The next one is The Cuckoo's Egg, which you'd probably the most interested in reading. It's Brad and Ella and a heartfelt conversation that will hopefully make you wibble.
After that is Three Hours and its companion piece Tomorrow There Will Be Tiggers which both prominently feature Ella and take place on the eve of the infamous Bronx Zoo photograph incident that kicked off the media storm that let to the events detailed in the fic you just read.

Hope that helps you out!
