Two weeks on the road
Ok, so here's the account of my last two weeks living life out of a hotel room.
March 9th-13th
For work my co-worker Tim and I headed to Chicago to hire teachers for our Chicago Branch. We took off around 5pm on Monday the 9th and touched down in Chicago 45 minutes later. Headed over to our hotel by the airport and settled in. Our owners came by and picked us up to get some food and discuss the plans for Chicago and beyond. We ate and laid ground work out until 2 in the morning.
For the next 3 days my schedule was 9am-9pm auditioning and hiring teachers. We ended up with 11 great teachers to start our Chicago branch but Tim and I put in about 60 hours during those 4 days. We had planned on heading downtown on Thursday night but lack of funds and being tired caused us to hit the bar and grill by the hotel. We still had fun drinking and playing bag toss and darts so there was no loss
On Friday we flew back to the cities and I headed home to get some family time and loving.
March 16th-20th
Vegas Baby!
Flew out of the cities on Monday and landed ready to roll. Sam filled in most what happened nicely. I only spent $300 of the $500 I brought along due to coming out either even or slightly ahead gambling wise each day (I ended the week +$20). The buffets and random other treats were tasty but I'd suggest against getting one of Nathan's Hot Dogs 1/4 covered in sauerkraut and sport peppers. I also ended up hurting Ben on two consecutive nights so I was nice to him the rest of the trip.
That's my update from my trips. Nothing to write home about but at least I did it.
