Hello everyone!
A day of free time is just what I need and so here I am in the Camp Arif-Jan cyber cafe....
bleh! Its so effin hot outside I feel like a baked potato. Oh well. I guess 145 isn`t that hot....
Anywho. Let it be known that I`m on pins and needles to get back. Granted, when i get home I will have to spend like a month in georgia but hey....its the USA. And Ft. Stewart is only an hour from the house. Weekends I should be able to come home......Then of course there`s my 3 weeks of leave(vacation)........P-A-R-T-Y!!!!!
Get prepared..... ok it can`t hurt to be ready months early......
So the coolest thing about being out here, besides the playstation-like explosions during the war, is being able to stand outside the box and evaluate my own life. For the first time in JMB history I am virtually debt free with a large sum of $ in the bank. I have a chance to go back to school with new directive....I~m thinking about going and being a radio personality....
Then of course I think we all know already that I`m gonna be staying with my folks probably till around Jan. or Feb. Then I`ll be getting a house.
Lots of other small details too.. but those are the biggies so far. The time outside of my everyday routine has been a mixed blessing of sorts. It also gave me the chance to realize how much the people in my life mean to me and to evaluate all the relationships that I hold.
Plus I`ve met some really cool people here.
I guess my deployment has been one more building block to grow from.
On another note....new tattoos when I get back!!!!!!
A decent back piece and one other I haven`t decided on yet. But hey~ I`m in the desert gimme a break.:)
