Alive!
Oddly, I seem to have tricked my body into believing that I slept in. I went to bed around 5am and got up around 10:00 when the power flickered. I'm not taking any chances, though. I'm drinking Mountain Dew before I hop in the shower.
Today's downer is that in the whole two minutes I left the room to relieve my bladder I missed my first call from my parents in SC. Sounds like they're enjoying themselves. It's only 60 down there but that's twice what it is here in Mount Pleasant and we just got a major snowfall.
Snow's weird. It's so quiet! When I got up to go to bed I looked out the window and the world was white - it hadn't been when I sat down.
