just an update; a really long one
Several things to update i suppose...
Saw the pirates of the carribean movie... loved it. thought it was great and only johnny depp could have played that character so well. i thought the movie had just the right amount of seriousness and the right amount of funny to it. i had the privilege of taking a beautiful date to it as well, and she enjoyed it too. excellent movie i thought. also, while i went on my little vacation, i splurged off my diet.. 4 weeks on the diet and no splurges, so the vacation was a free for all on food :P and movie theatre popcorn is just oh so delicious.
Went to six flags on monday and had an absolutely awesome time. for anyone who likes roller coasters, get yer ass to a six flags and ride the superman ride... it will rock your ass off. it is now my favorite roller coaster. its so fast and you lay horizontal on your stomach with just the shoulder harness holding you in... omg you think you are going to hit the buildings or the ground at some points. just total kick ass ride.
did almost die tho. you know how you have to be so tall to ride at six flags? yeah well you cant be too tall or you cant ride either. i was too tall to ride both the batman and the georgia scorcher and then when i first got on the superman i thought i was going to be for it... but the attendant pushed the shoulder harness down and said it was okay... but then when i tested it, it popped open.. scared me and my friend to death. i pulled it back down tight and made sure it was closed but all i could think about when we started was falling out... but i didnt and it was great.
and prices at six flags are absolutely insane... 4 dollars for a bottle of water. 6.99 plus tax for 3 chicken tenders and a handful of fries. it was ridiculous... but going on monday was a good idea and the crowds werent too bad. and it never rained like i feared so. it was just a really really good time.
oh, the last rant about it, the georgia cyclone sucks goat balls... the seats are too small, the cars are too small and i nearly destroyed my knees on the metal seat back in front of me. i literally limped off it. when you look at the pictures after you get off, they caught me with a huge grimace of pain on my face. i looked lik ea retard... ha ha ha, i know all of you are saying "whats new".
so my vacation was good... im mad at having to be back at work and back at the grindstone. it felt so good to relax, do nothing, buy junk food, spend my hard earned money and basically just enjoy myself to the fullest. got to cuddle with a sexy woman and enjoy her wonderful company for 3 days as well. and even her cute sister! shes gonna kill me for that statement :p
thanks girl for giving me a place to crash during my vacation, a bed bug to cuddle with, a great time, a cute picture, great memories and a smile that wont seem to go away. i never fully understood the importance of a vacation until this summer. but working all the time is not fun. especially someone of my party nature. hehe. now its back to work for 7 straight days. ahh the joys of being a working man. working stiff or working dog would be more accurate i do believe.
ahh the joy of work.. dont you just love it when someone calls and yells at you and tells you how to do your job better? and my favorite is when they get mad by the standard policy that has always been in effect and expect you to be able to change it just for them. i love how everyone who calls in with a complaint thinks that they supercede everyone else's problems and are the most special rose scenting shit eaters to ever walk the earth. arg* never have i wanted to hang up on people so badly.
but even they cant dampen my mood for very long. about an hour ago i was flooded by 6 of my friends on aim. i havent talked to that many since school... and all of them needed me to listen. lol. it was fun and i felt loved and needed again. not all were serious and the one i was most concerned about had access to power tools and other large instruments of self mutilation... but she didnt hurt herself or anyone else so i was relieved :P and i hope that i was able to help all the rest. my friends mean the world to me. what would we do without friends?
well now im back at moms house again, to a house that is empty until saturday. time to catch up on all my sleep and dance around the house naked as much as i want to. 1 and 1/2 weeks until i quit this job and return to ttown. everything is starting to speed up and happen quickly like it always does at the end of summer. hope i can keep up...
