APPLICATION
1. Please do not apply as an alias. LiveJournal games are played as real people. Although newly made LiveJournal accounts will be allowed, I may wish to confirm your identity via a facebook, a picture challenge, some independent means.
2. This game is tentatively scheduled to begin in early February and run for 2-3 months. To ensure a game that does not drag on and on, challenge deadlines will be tight and there will be tight deadlines on nomination & veto ceremonies. If you are going to sign up to play be prepared to make a commitment to check the LiveJournal community at least once a day. Since most people live on Facebook, Google+, whatever 50 times a day, that's not unreasonable. Players should plan on investing a little bit of time on AOL Instant Messenger each day or every other day so you can chat and strategize with your housemates. Please note that an AOL account is not required, as there are many chat programs online, but this has been the generally accepted chat norm of LiveJournal Gaming in the past.
3. Diary room entries will be required at a frequency of one written or video entry a week.
4. We aren't saying no to veterans in this game. However, we'd like to say yes to many newbies first. If you're interested in the game, veteran or not, apply.
5. The challenges and twists will all be written out and locked away in a screened post to be revealed at the very end before the game begins. This is to ensure everyone understands that the game and it's twists are fair.
As always, the games design and twists will weed out the inactive players FAST, as well as those who don't submit their diary rooms, so please don't waste our time by signing up if you aren't going to be here when the game starts. Note: We do realize real-life circumstances come up and sometimes people have to take a break from the game. We're not going to be insensitive jerks about pre-meditated and emergency disappearances from the game, as long as you keep us informed. Hosts have real lives too :)
