WEEK 1: PoV / Results

The pair of nominees from each house (Donna, Emma, Kelli, Paloma) as well as Kirsten chose not to participate in Big Brother's Drag Race, all for various reasons. Due to their insubordination, the five of them will be ineligible from competing in Week 2's Head of Household competition. As you know, Emma already flaked on this week's Head of Household competition, so she is now unable to compete for the Power of Veto next week.

Dallas, Drew, Stacey, Therese, and Victoria: the judges have deliberated, and the decision is final... one of you will be the winner of the first Power of Veto competition. Andrew had to step in for his BFF Noelle and Jonny stepped in for Josh because, unsurprisingly, that little booger was no where to be found. Due to there being only five of you that competed, Big Brother instructed them to score you 1-5, one being the fiercest Drag Queen and five being the most absolute, god awful performer.

Andrew: "Liked that you actually had a story behind it, that put it above and beyond for me. Lip-synching was okay, intermixed with other shots. Wish we got a bit more full-on lipsynching though. The drag was over the top (in a good way) - so kudos for going, what I imagine, was out of your comfort zone. That's what it takes to win a challenge." (1)
Jason: "this was ok. i think he focused more on editing and presentation than the drag - he did the makeup and dress etc, which was commendable, but didnt really get into it and looked bored. and the stupid intro was way too long...its not a gaga video ok" (3)
Jonny: "First of all I appreciate the Lafayette cameo. The lip-synching was mediocre and the dancing was very stiff; poor dancing. But I do give you points for the dedication. I mean full body shave? Woof. Also it would appear that you rented a sleazy motel room to film the video in." (3)
Kari: "Points for the Pinky & the Brain reference. Good direction. The lipstick matches the skin. Gorgeous pantaloons! I approve of good hygeine. Quality drunk girl dance! WHALE TAIL! redits were Hallmark Cardilicious." (2)
Katrina: "After watching all the videos, I am assuming you are the only straight guy in this competition. Kudos! I like that you shaved, it proves that you were dedicated. Started strong, but the execution fell flat with me. Overall, great job... wink!" (3)

Andrew: "Lipsynching was way off. Some of the shots really matched Ke$ha and the song though, so I give you points for that, plus your makeup was pretty wild." (4)
Jason: "made me lol so fucking hard because i kept getting shades of the Bjork Stalker, and just how creepy/weird it was filmed made me laugh a lot" (2)
Jonny: "Do you even know what a Drag Queen is? I don’t think you did any lip-syncing, 'cause all I saw was your O face for three and half minutes. Disastrous. Show your hoo-haw for Christ sake." (4)
Kari: "Oh. Lovely shoes! The audio is WAY out of sync here...This is sufficiently...I'm not really sure..." (5)
Katrina: "Did you go to the Bruce Lee School of Drag? The sync of the video and the audio were completely off. I would have liked to have seen more than just your face straight in the camera. It looked more like you were making an extremely tragic, low-low-budget porno, instead of doing drag. Sorry, better luck next time.... muah!" (4)

Andrew: "Love the drag, leaned in the direction of Jersey Shore. Lipsynching was on point and I liked that you gave us a bit more than the song, though I think you could have gone even further and told a story with it like a real music video (or HG #1), but good job, I felt the effort." (5)
Jason: "i really liked the song, but that's all i remembered from the video...after it was over, i played the song on my itunes but couldnt remember a thing from her performance." (5)
Jonny: "Your boobs are out, which is a definite plus. Eyebrows and tiara are a major win. Excellent lip-syncing. The beginning was a little slow. I would have liked to see more dancing, 'cause girl you fabulous!" (2)
Kari: "The hair is FANTASTIC! YES GODS. I approve of your taste in men. Points for Theatricality. You know the song. A+ WERKKKKKKKKKKKKKK! Needs moar dancing. This is extremely entertaining." (1)
Katrina: "Love, love, love! Definitely got my attention with the Ewan McGregor bit. Your eyelashes, eyebrows and boobies were fierce, girl!!! You were the only one of two to actually do drag and do it well. Your audio was spot on and you changed the scenery throughout. Simply amazing........ muah muah!"" (1)

Andrew: "You made me laugh with your intro about the drag, so I didn't dock you anything for that and, in fact, probably gave you bonus points for the effort you made. Amazing song too, so I might be a little biased on that one. Love the diva lipsynching, it was right on the mark - though I could have even dealt with more drama! But I was entertained." (3)
Jason: "was cute but he just sat there and lip synced and didnt do anything. he had to tell us he was wearing a dress instead of showing it *yawn*" (4)
Jonny: "Honey, no explanation necessary. Just get into it. We don’t need any excuses. The intro made me expect it to be bad... and it was! Get out of your chair and dance! You shouldn’t have picked a song about hair if you couldn’t get a hold of a fabulous wig! My hair looks like that when I get out of bed in the morning! You are putting some character and emotion into it though and that’s good But overall it was boring. Cute little laugh in the end though." (5)
Kari: "I'm going to not be biased, even though I LOVE YOU BITCH! HOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO It's Gaga, so you better WERQ. I better see some Church in a minute. THERE IT IS. You REALLY need to do drag. You would KILL. I feel like you needed a wig here. Even if it looked like a mop, it would have added so much. The facial expressions make this video. I have to deduct points because you mentioned you wore a dress, but didn't even stand up so we could see it. MOAR DANCING. MOAR." (4)
Katrina: "When self-help dating books tell you that less is more, the same applies to explaining your drag, or lack thereof. You completely killed the mood by telling us why you were going to do a horrible job. That fact alone gave you an instant five in my book. Have some confidence! I don't believe that you didn't have anything to substitute a wig, either. Hmmph. Better luck next time..... wink!" (5)

Andrew: "Intro was creative, you had me hooked. The costume was pretty good too and the lipsynching kept up more than some of your competitors, which I know was a big part of this, so kudos for that. I like that you added a little dance breakdown, so I give you points for that, too." (2)
Jason: "i liked first one, because she threw the most shade omg and bc she legit looked like a guy in drag... and i mean that in the best way possible. for a girl doing this competition, i think its kinda harder, but she did a great job! etc!" (1)
Jonny: "You have the best drag queen name, make-up, outfit and lip-synching. The only negative thing I will say was that the dancing, while good, could have left that corner. Spice it up! Show us some new locations! Dance around the whole house! With that said the dancing was still the best of all, and I appreciate the gratuitous booty shot. Guuuuuuuuurl you’re the winner, hands down!!!" (1)
Kari: "I LOVE the drag name. LOVE IT. Points for the red hair. Gotta stick together! WORK THOSE SHORTS. WORKKKKKKKQQQ. This is so Rachel from BB13 right now and I can't. Girl, those thighs. Girl. /envy." (3)
Katrina: "I felt like I was watching Ariel Triton, all grown up and making a sex tape. If Carrot Top and Kathy Griffin had a lovechild, it would be your drag persona. I wish you had done more than just dancing in the corner and stroking the walls around you. Overall, it was the only other 'real' drag performance, other than Miss McMan. Excellent job, girl..... muah!" (2)

Estee LauderHarderFaster? Chanté, you stay. The rest of you, please sashay away. With the Power of Veto, Victoria has the Power to veto one of the nominees in the villain house, or ...

...she can veto one of the nominees in the hero house. It would be stupid of Big Brother to disallow the Power of Veto to be used in both houses. Finally, the Power of Veto wields just as much strength as the Head of Household, if not more. Victoria, you have until 11:59pm EDT on Monday, August 1st to make your decision. Please make a new post to the community.

Well, with that said houseguests... if you don't love yo'self, how da' hayell you gon' love somebody else? Can I get a AMEN up in hurr?
