WEEK 1: PoV

Jul 28, 2011 16:34

Dallas, Drew, Donna, Emma, Kelli, Kirsten, Paloma, Stacey, Therese and Victoria: to be the winner of this Power of Veto, you will need to be a fashion designer, an American Idol, and a top model all rolled up into one. And you'll definitely have to be smarter than a fifth grader. In case you magically haven't guessed it already: you're gonna have to throw your inhibition to wind and perform drag.

The ten of you will have to lip-sync.......... for your life! Below, there are ten songs to choose from. Drew will get to choose first, because the heroes performed the best in the Head of Household competition. Dallas will pick a song second, and after that, Kirsten will grab hers. Donna will then select a song, followed by Stacey, Therese and Kelli. Victoria will be the third to last, and after her will be Paloma and then Emma.

"Hair" by Lady Gaga will be peformed by Drew
"Not Myself Tonight" by Christina Aguilera will be performed by Kelli
"Trouble For Me" by Britney Spears will be performed by Victoria
"Commander" by Kelly Rowland will be performed by
"Last Friday Night" by Katy Perry will be performed by Dallas
"Cannibal" by Ke$ha will be performed by Stacey
"Call Your Girlfriend" by Robyn will be performed by
"Love You Like A Love Song" by Selena Gomez will be performed by Therese
"Fly On The Wall" by Miley Cyrus will be performed by Kirsten
"Sweet Dreams" by Beyonce will be performed by Donna

Drag Kings are boring, so even if you're a woman already, you will have to dramatically glam up your ~lewk~ to charm the hearts and souls of Big Brother's Panel of Judges.

BBLJ3 champion Jason and former houseguest Kari are the staple judges, alongside Noelle, All-Stars runner-up. The three of them are joined by BBLJ's resident booger, Josh and an extra-special guest judge, Katrina, my dear friend and drag mother.

They are really looking for charisma, uniqueness, nerve and talent. Think outside of the box, make a music video to your song... something. Sitting in front of your computer in drag, lip-syncing the song will probably not prove victorious for you. Your only requirements are that you will have to make up a drag name for yourself and your lip-sync has to, obviously, be in video form. Other than that, the floor is yours to let your creativity flow.

Due to LJ's inconsistencies, and the sheer magnitude of this competition, we will be giving you a great deal of time to put something together. The deadline is set for Sunday, July 31st @ 9:59pm EDT. E-mail your videos to the account. Let us know if you have any questions!

Good luck,.... and don't fuck it up!
