DOUBLE EVICTION

Sep 27, 2009 22:40

When the houseguests arrived for the ninth Power of Veto competition, they were blissfully unaware that they were about to endure a double eviction. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. They PoV was very simple. Big Brother would give a celebrity name from a famous Sci-Fi movie and they would in turn have to provide the link to a picture of that celebrity in the fastest amount of time.

Casey swept the competition and promptly vetoed himself off the chopping block. Andrea was told that she had a minute to make her replacement nomination. She nominated Donna in Casey's place saying "Okay, this sucks, but I'm putting up Donna in Casey's place, only because I know her the least of everyone." After that, one by one, the houseguests that were eligible to vote were called into the diary room alphabetically.

By a vote of 3-1, Donna was re-evicted and became the twelfth houseguest to exit the house. Once she left Brian, Casey, Chris, Daniel, and Leah went outside in the garden to compete in the tenth Head of Household competition.

The tenth HoH competition was "Eliminator". Big Brother comment with a word or a phrase backwards and the houseguests had to descramble it by typing it correctly. Once they did this, they were required to instantly eliminate someone from the competition upon confirmation from Big Brother that they did it correctly. Brian swept this competition and had a minute to make his nominations. In the end, he chose to nominate Casey and Chris for eviction.

The tenth Power of Veto competition was an auction. Each houseguest was given $1,000 to spend on various items. The items offered: Amnesty from the "Final Countdown" icon, two extra votes for the next eviction, three mystery items, the ability to choose Andrea's unicon color, and the Power of Veto.

No one chose to bid on the amnesty, and both Daniel and Casey won an extra vote respectfully. Andrea won the first and third mystery items. They were the Vote Telescope and tickets for two to a movie of her choice. Leah won the second mystery item and it was the immunity key. Lastly, the Power of Veto was a sought after item, of course. Daniel and Andrea gave the rest of their money to Brian, and Leah gave her money to Casey.

Obviously, Brian won the tenth Power of Veto competition. He chose to keep his nominations the same. Because he was nominated, Casey was forced to give his extra vote to someone, and he chose to give it to Leah. By a vote of 5-0, Casey became the thirteenth evicted houseguest of the season.

When all was said and done, Big Brother threw the eleventh Head of Household competition at the houseguests. They were told that Big Brother would give them a celebrity's last name from a famous Sci-Fi movie and that they had to fill in the blank of the first name. The first one was Veronica Cartwright of Alien, which Leah instantly answered. The second was Sam Rockwell, fro Galaxy Quest, and Andrea answered that correctly.

The two of them advanced to the second round of the competition. HAL returned and made to posts for them to comment in. The first person to get to 100 comments would win. Leah shot out of the gate and eventually won the competition. That is where the game stands as of right now. We're at the F5, Leah is the reigning Head of Household, and she must now make her nominations.
