Tuesday was nice to me

There was nothing spectacular about today, but it was still one of the very best days I've had in a long while. Went to Pest, found out my string of A's on the tests in the class is still intact. On to History of Rock n Roll, nothin much there. Dinner at Scooter's, blech. Only 2 teams that were supposed to play each other showed up for the volleyball tournament.

RANT FORTHCOMING... One of my annoyances is to do things and seem that the effort put forward is completely ignored and not appreciated. the RA's as a group were supposed to run the volleyball league. But we were left to form it alone as Fred and Julie went to nationals with the softball team. And, Kat went as well. So there were 3 RA's in charge of everything, and the only people with experience were in Alabama. So we made the rules for the league, and had the first week without any more support. Because of class schedules, I was the only RA around for any of the league (and Amy, I'm not upset with you at all... you had class, that's why we're at college). So I ran the damned thing alone, and people worked to take advantage of that fact, trying to play my friendship to get rules changed for their team. The fact that I didn't know all the rules, and had to consult on occasion also pissed them off. And the last two weeks, nearly 2/3's of the league can't play... they signed up to play softball on Tues and Thurs nights, but damn me for not having enough free time to bend over backwards and let all the games be played on Wednesdays. No, I'm not enrolled in college either guys. Lack of ...appreciation for simply trying to organize and make it a fair, and fun time for all, begins to grate... I'm left glad that after tomorrow night I dont' have to deal with it anymore.

Back to the good day...After the official games were done, hung out and blew stuff up with Brandon for a bit. Then went up to the theatre and saw The Butterfly Effect. I didn't know the director's cut had a completely different ending, and it surprised the crap out of me. Still think I like the theatrical ending better. A female friend had a lot on her mind, to the point that she went walking for over an hour to sort it out. So we went and got some drinks at Sonic and drove around, and I was confided in, again. Thank you... :) Got to do some singing in the truck too, lol. I still need a woman to sing to, but it was nice to actually open up n sing again. I will be doing that more often. Then an entertaining conversation/set of card tricks with DeeDee and Adeel. I get to my room with a good cheesy grin on my face. Now I just have to go to bed, tomorrow I will be certifiable, again. Ummm... certified.

Now, to sound proof my room so I can sing at 1:30 am and not piss off EVERYONE else up here, lol
