That's where I am. Chelsea got a weekend off, for once, and we decided to surprise Chelsea's parents by coming down and spending the weekend here, especially since she hasen't been down here since September. We came down last night, ate at Paradoc's (probably the best restaurant in the area, I think), and we're going back tomorrow. Today, we did a little bit of running around. We got name tags and collars for the cats, which is good. We also got a couple of sweaters for Cheyenne, which she actually liked (at least, for now... first time's always a charm).
Chelsea's dad almost got a beagle at the pet shop. They were doing a rescue -- this is how he got Cheyenne. He sat there for an hour with the dog, contemplating it, and then finally decided to get her, only to be told when they looked up the paperwork that some woman was going to pick it up tomorrow. Kinda bummed us all out, but I guess G-d didn't mean for that little beagle to come into their family.
I'm really glad he got Cheyenne though. Life wouldn't be as fun without that dog. She's staring at me right now.
Meanwhile, Chelsea's mom bought us a little tree with birdhouses in it. Pictures to come when we set it up at home.
