I miss home. When I first came to Bard, I was so excited to get away from home. And I'm glad I did: the experience is unparalled. But after all these, the travelling back and forth, being in an isolated academic setting, the lack of a social and dating scene has caught up with me.
I miss the comforts of home: being with Alexia. At her house. Sleeping over. Joking around. Going to "Church". Seeing her family. Having her mom encourage me to start bitch fights over men. I miss being around Alexia; her presence, her words, her thoughts, her help, her support. I know I have it here - it's just - I wish - I could see her in person more often. Then of course there's kitty. My cd tower. Seeing my parents (on a restricted amount of time). My other wonderful friends: aka Geri and her mom, who also rock my socks! Eli. All the sights, sounds, fun. The Social Life. The men; the men; THE MEN!
Ok. Only 5 more weeks until I go home for Thanksgiving. And counting.
