The House of Representatives passed the SAFE act, which requires all providers of open wifi to report illegal images including "obscene" cartoons and drawings. The fine for those who get caught is $300,000. If you know how to/have the time and or have the income to pay someone to review every thing that everybody looks at/downloads on your free wifi tell me cause I don't know anybody. That’s not the bad one.
Senate bill 1959 or H.R. 1955 Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act has already been passed by the House. Anybody that uses "force" to change someone’s political, religious view is considered a terrorist and is jailed. This will get rid of those guys coming to your door asking if they can enlighten you with the word of god. But it also puts an end to our freedom of speech, as we know it. If you speak out against the administration or anything it's doing you could be jailed. If you have a sit in protest that gets in the way of anything you could be jailed. Any form of protesting is out the window. This also counts for News reporters and politicians. From then on if you’re in a presidential campaign and your views don't match the ones of the persons in office and you speak about it you could be jailed. Seriously how FUCKED UP is this. I am personally overwhelmed with emotions right now. I want to do something but I don't know what to do. I can call my senator. Beg him and hope he has a conscience or the slightest care for our rights. If this gets passed I'm saving every penny I get and move the hell out of this country.
