A man was walking down a steep sidewalk on his way to collect on his rewards. A hard day of training lead him to his $10 tip out now snuggled deep in the dark cash box of the corner store owned and operated by 3 men from the middle east. The strides back to his hermit crab shell where spaced a good amount shorter than the that of the walk before. His spoils are that of mens craving. A 40oz miller high life weighted his right hand down given that a 40oz has far greater mass than that of a Tony's pizza. The setting sun was not kind to him going to sleep in the direction his eyes where facing. The foliage was deep and vibrant climbing from his left side but not close enough to shield him the squinting and the warmth he felt on his skin. The man hears something coming from the woods but the sound was muffled by the years of rock music still ringing in his ears. He continues his journey never minding the noises echoing from the south. Upon the meeting of the main trail leading to his homestead a much less trampled path lays before him. He knows not of this path or to whom it is known by. A bike trail is what it is he finds out when his drink yielding relaxation is shattered by the startle of a shadowed figure on a bike rolling down the hidden path. "fuck...that sucks" in word vomit form comes out of his mouth. Not in anger but in shock. The biker stops and approaches him and slowly he makes out the features of the cause of this tragedy. Until he steps in to the shade where his eyes adjust to see a clear picture. His mind rambles hard to find a memory or an image more beautiful than the woman on the bike. She tilted her head to get her short sandy hair that is frizzled by the wind out of her face to see the damage caused by her recklessness. Her eyes burned him brighter than the sun and deep into his soul. She says with a mild hesitation "I'll buy you another if you share that pizza." The man is going over the possibilities as he realizes that this is a frozen pizza meaning she would have to come to his home to enjoy it. A fact she is fully aware of. He agrees and they slowly walk back to the store with the clicking of the bike gears as there tempo. They exchange stories of the events that lead to there meeting. Him a virgin to the city fresh from his new employment ready to relax. Her a trip to the store to feed a mild addiction of cigarettes and alcohol. They man waits out side to roll up some tobacco to smoke on the way back. She comes out of the store with to 40oz in a bag. Pulls out a pack of roll your owns and indulges in the same fashion. They start off on the way back to his home. He gives her the tour that she has had before given she lives in the same apt. complex. They put the food in the oven and put some music on until it is done. They take there feast to the back porch over looking nothing but trees. They both realize there similarity as the conversation continues to grow for hours. The day comes to an end as she looks at the Rugrats watch on her wrist and realizes she has to get ready for work. As they get out of there comfortable seats the anticipation builds in thoughts of a possible goodbye kiss. the hallway is narrow forcing them to get closer as they both try to go through it at the same time. Bumping shoulders they stop and study the situation. Gaining the confidence they both closed there eyes and gave each other a soft long sensual kiss that couldn't be better described as a wal-mart filled with fireworks all going off at the same time. Turning the sky into an arsenal of shooting stars of witch every wish made on each one comes true and the wish is for this moment to never end. They awake from there dream and she runs out the door as to not loose her source of income. He stands in awe for a minute wondering when there next meeting will be and is glad he was apart of the only thing great that could ever come from dropping a beer. He goes to the door to watch her ride a way and as he opens it he sees a note is posted on his door. It reads her name and number and how she was incredibly happy to have met him and hopes that it won't be long before she hears from him again.
