A few items of business

1. I am still loving the Teen Wolf. I know there's a bunch of shit going down in fandom, but I'm just in my happy bubble and enjoying the show. Dylan Sprayberry is a good little actor, and I think he's a great addition to the cast, along with Mason. I also don't really miss Danny since I actually agree that from a storytelling perspective he would have no purpose. Keahu is sweet, but not a great actor, IMO, so while I always enjoyed him, I'm fine with Danny being gone. Tertiary characters don't get their own storylines, and once the main/secondary characters whose stories they are there to serve are gone, thus they goeth as well. I don't really get what the big deal is, but that's how I feel about this fandom's outrage pretty much all the time, so.

2. Halfway through Penny Dreadful. It's very enjoyable! I also like that it's only 8 episodes since I have so much TV to catch up on.

3. Still need to finish Homeland S3. Watched the first three eps and I'm so over Carrie's wobbly chin. Damian is my favourite, and I know how it ends, so it's just...meh. But I do love Rupert Friend as Quinn. Oh, and deeply annoyed that Mike is just gone without any mention of where he is. Couldn't they have said he was redeployed or something? Because it makes no sense he would abandon Jessica and the kids now when they need him the most.

4. I'm bummed that the Aussie show A Place to Call Home got canned when there was only supposed to be one more season and it was all planned out. Boooooooo! Hiss!

5. I still need to watch Vikings, Bates Motel, The Fosters, Orange is the New Black, Masters of Sex, and Breaking Bad. And many others I'm sure I'm forgetting. I deleted all of Sons of Anarchy unseen since it just seems so grim and...ugh. I was already iffy on a show about criminals (as I get older my tolerance for glamourizing criminals is going way down), and I heard about major deaths this season and was like, forget it. Not my cup of tea.

6. Enjoying Graceland S2 a lot, although Jakes is on my last nerve. He and Johnny bug since I don't think they're very good at their jobs. Say what you will about Briggs, but if I'm ever kidnapped by a white slave ring, I want him on the case. He gets shit done. (Also, Charlie is going to lose her freaking mind when she finds out the truth about what Briggs re: killing whatshisname.) I was complaining to fenwic that there wasn't enough tension between Mike and Paige, and that they'd gotten together too fast. Well, tension has been achieved! Heh.
