The Americans is the übershit. I inhaled it all within 2.5 days and am now up to date and can't stop thinkin about anything else, lol. Totally addicted, obsessed, all of the above. SENSATIONAL SHOW.

Hee! It is indeed. :D I'm so glad you're enjoying it so much! It really is sensational. It gives me so many feels. I like that they don't shy away from having our heroes kill innocent people, and that they show the toll it takes. This show was my most pleasant surprise of last season.

Yes - there's not much nice and/or sweet stuff going on in the show, which makes the few positive moments in between all the more important. And I love good angst and drama and this is so very well done, written and acted out, I'm muchly in awe. Perfect show for me.

I totally agree with you about both Glee and Looking.

Glee is much better in NYC, but I'm done with Sue Sylvester and the duet was such a BAD choice.

I love Looking and am interested (and anxious) to see where they take Patrick's character, and with whom. I like both Richie and Kevin for completely different reasons so I'd be okay either way. I love Dom and hope there is a future with Lyn. I think Augustin needs to grow up BIG TIME or I might completely hate the character.

It really is much better in NYC. I have to say I didn't miss Mercedes and I think she and Sam have ZERO chemistry, but anything is better than the 234353th iteration of the bitchy cheerleader with inner pain trope.

I lean towards Kevin because I really enjoy Russell Tovey, but Richie is such a dear. And I hope he stays clean shaven, because he looks so much better! Heh. But I feel like he will inevitably have his heart broken since Patrick loves Kevin more.

I was SO WORRIED about Dom's restaurant night, and so relieved it went well and that he and Lyn were able to connect. I love them! And yes, ditto on Augustin. He is insufferable most of the time. So selfish and immature. His nice boyfriend deserves better! We'll see if that breakup holds.

I think it would serve Augustin right if his boyfriend ran off and married C.J. Hooker. C.J. Hooker was clearly better in bed and rocking Frank's world better than Augustin anyhow.

Ha! Agreed. And I was like, DUDE, ARE YOU PAYING HIM $250/HOUR ALL DAY? How does he have the money for that?

I gave up on Glee such a long time ago, probably around the same time they ruined Tina (who had previously been the only girl I'd never disliked at any point) but I've been over Sue since season 1. It's rubbish because Jane Lynch is great and deserves better. Oh well, I haven't watched in so long and the only thing I still enjoy if I do catch any of it is the Blam friendship anyway.

Oh, that's a lie. I don't think I ever disliked Mercedes either. But that's it.

The endless Russian embassy scenes caused me to stop watching this season of "The Americans". Maybe I will revisit it when it comes out on DVD and I have more patience then, knowing I can get to something good sooner rather than later

Yeah, the Russian embassy scenes can go on too long, but the season has still been really good, IMO. Hope you do watch at some point. Philip's manpain as the season goes on is wonderful. :D

I love Darren/Blaine, but I hear you. I've been totally over Glee for years now, yet I can't seem to stop watching. I do FF a lot, though.

OMG, does this mean we would've had to battle in an epic shipper war on TWOP, if TWOP was still around? Heh.

Richie really is a doll, and I'd love for him to stay on the show. I did hear he's going to be a reg in S2, but I assume that's in his capacity of love triangle participant. I feel his heart is doomed.

I'm so glad to hear that about Scott Bakula! I love Lom too. (No? Dynn?) I mean really, with 8 half hour eps, Scott could film his scenes for a season in two days since he's just a guest star. I really love him and Dom together. I was so worried about that popup night, and I was yelling at Dom. YES, YOU NEED TO APOLOGIZE! Heh.

Yay, someone else who watches Glee! ITA about Sue...cannot understand why they had her sing THAT song with Lea, or any song. Took me right out of the scene.

Seriously, wasn't it terrible?? Sue should rarely sing, and she should NEVER sing juxtaposed with Lea!
