Wow, this was HOT! And you hit the mark--again--on why Noah just doesn't get it. Mason? Really?! Of all people! I'm sure Luke would have been fine with Richard. Awww, poor Richard. Noah *is* such a douche.

But Reid is awesome, as always!
The nurse (Ellie? Ali?) leans in close to Luke, clearly shocked. He just can't bother to learn her name. :)

Reid follows, ignoring the fact that Noah is opening his mouth to say something else that will likely be incredibly stupid.

I love that Reid knows what will make Luke happy, and he's not afraid to give it him, even if it's not what he was brought up to do. And in turn, he gets to make new memories with Luke to erase the awful old ones. They focus on giving each other what will make the other happy, and as a by-product of that, they are filled with so much joy and love themselves--at the thought that they alone were able to make the other happy--that it's a double gift. *sigh*

Geez, is that clear as mud?!
