OMG I LOVED IT, YOU GUYS.
Aside from a few Nuke moments that were a little too...affectionate? For lack of a better word. But man, oh, man. Luke said some things to Noah that made me cheer (literally), including reminding him that they broke up and Noah didn't want him, thanks very much, and yeah, it's serious with Reid and Reid is a big ol' part of the reason Luke is not going to LA with Noah. (I was puzzled by Luke apologizing to Noah for not telling him about dating Reid. Er, what? He told Alison and Casey last week that Noah knew. And we know Noah knew. God, this show. Continuity: it's not just for breakfast!)
When Noah said he didn't want Luke to get hurt, I didn't like that Luke said "Then you never should have pushed me away." Because, hello, then Luke wouldn't have met Reid. But then Luke said, "That's something I NEVER would have done to you," and I think it was just him getting the long-simmering anger and hurt off his chest.
Oy, Jake's acting. So painful, especially now that Van has stopped overacting. The difference is night and day between them. Night and freaking day. Van's little wibbly sad face (A COMMON OCCURRENCE WHEN NOAH MAYER IS PRESENT) is just perfect.
I loved that after the first Nuke convo, which was supposed to be their goodbye (Noah: "No hugging or kissing"; vast majority of audience: "SOUNDS LIKE A PLAN") and ended with Luke a little wounded, he skipped over to the hospital and was all eager to see Reid and being a dork. Bye, Noah! WE DIDN'T MISS YOU.
However, my favourite part, and the part I hit instant replay on ten times in a row, is that when Reid called during the Nuke convo, the first thing he said to Luke was, "You okay?" because he could tell simply from Luke's voice that he was upset. OH, REID. HOW SO AWESOME. That's going in my top five L/R moments. I just loved it so much. I can't even.
Can't wait for tomorrow! Reid is a deer in the headlights faced with Luke's suspicions! Awww, bb. In related news, Chris Hughes is a douche. I can't believe he tried to blackmail Reid into helping him. (Poor Reid, that's a pattern.) But I do enjoy their scenes and Reid helping him. Also enjoy that Chris kept saying he got a hotel room "for us." I don't slash them, but if Chris were cuter, I might. *g*
