Wow, way to make an ass of yourself at the finish line, Brandy! Geez louise. Look, Caite will never be a mensa member and I don't like her, but she's right -- look who finished the race. Brandy and Carol were the stupid ones for being so outwardly bitchy to Caite and making an enemy. Because you know what that gets you? U-turned. Caite doesn't owe them an apology at all. SUCK IT UP.
I was really, really rooting for the cowboys, but I have to give Dan and Jordan props for that first-class move. That was the race right there. I liked them for most of the race and I'm happy for them, although I wish they hadn't made that dick move with the line at the airport. Don't make dick moves on the race unless they really get you somewhere. It was just so unnecessary.
I was laughing my ass off when Jet/Cord (still can't remember which is which, heh) was telling the other to two-step and do ballet moves. Heeeeeeee. I want to see the cowboys in the next all-star edition! T
In other news, I finished watching True Blood S2 yesterday with a couple of friends. I was extremely meh on S1, but they wanted to watch and I'd heard there was more Alexander Skarsgard, which was a compelling incentive. I'm happy to say that I really enjoyed S2, much to my surprise. I still don't love Tara, but at least Maryanne and Eggs (HELLO) kept that interesting. Jason was much more likable this season as well, and I adore Sam. Hoyt also became an unexpected favourite, along with Jessica, who I detested in S1.
As expected, Eric was fabulous. And hot. My lord. So hot. I've always liked Anna Paquin, and I really enjoy her Sookie. The only big sore spot was Bill. I have no idea if this is an unpopular opinion or not, but Stephen Moyer:
a)Is extremely unattractive. Not hot. At all.
b)Cannot act his way out of a paper bag.
I know they saddle him with some pretty bad dialogue and he's putting on that American accent, but UGH. Every time he opens his mouth I just wish he'd go away. And this is coming from someone who has always loved Bill in the books and shipped Sookie/Bill. But Moyer's Bill is so unappealing! He's had a few moments where he was okay, but I am not feeling his performance at all. So, needless to say, Team Eric. *g*
