It's so amusing to me how much more restrained Mary Murphy is when she's on So You Think You Can Dance Canada. Sure, she'll still give a screaming WOOOO and the hot tamale train will pull into the station, but overall she's much calmer. She gives really thoughtful comments and is far less frenetic. I prefer this version of Mary because it really shows her at her best.

I can't believe the US version is back next week already. I'm going to just skip the auditions all together and tune in for Vegas week. This week was top 18 for Canada, and I don't want to get completely burned out on dancing. At least our results show is only half an hour.

I wanted to put up some YT clips of my fave dances so far, but the internet is failing. I don't know if non-Canucks can watch CTV's clips on their site, but I loved the Jamaican dancehall and the group Bollywood this week. Both were so fun and made me want to get up and dance myself. Cool that they got the choreographer who did Slumdog Millionaire to do the Bollywood.

So far I think Emanuel Sandhu is doing quite well on the show and, more importantly, he isn't being a douchebag. He's had a great attitude and is making me remember why I used to like him as a skater way back in the day before he diva-ed out.
