so I think I'm going to quit LJ. I don't ever post anymore- half because no one reads it (except sometimes troy) (and apparently my friend Kristen who doesn't even have an LJ anymore) and half because... no one wants to hear it. yes, I'm feeling sorry for myself. and yes, i've felt sort of... insignificant lately. so yeah, I'll get over it.

I know an LJ is for me, but part of the reason I like it, is because I can be a part of people's lives, and they can be a part of mine. I don't feel important lately, I don't feel wanted. That's very likely my own fault, and no one else should have to be nicer to me to fix it- I realize that. I don't feel like people care if I say anything. I just posted... and I like to get comments- I'll be honest. I would love to know someone who didn't like getting comments. And it just makes me sad, because I feel like no one cares when I post. and I'm just being stupid anyway. I know very very few people who post in their LJ just because they want to and for their own good- if they did, they'd make it private. Everyone likes to feel important- and in my strange little backassward way, that's what makes me feel good. and i'm just insane.

I'm glad you read it, Jake. That makes me feel good. I guess I'm just... shallow or something- but I can't help but wonder if people just sort of scroll quickly by an entry by me... something.

An LJ is for the writer of it. If you don't get anything out of it, by all means, don't feel you need to post.
