Room 309, Wednesday Afternoon
There was a knock at the door. Not the door leading to the dorm corridor, but a knock from the closet door. Sulley had been sitting on his bed for the last few minutes, what few things he had in a bag beside him. He'd said goodbye to Ron already, but had missed Karal. He left a letter for him instead. Letters had played a big part in his life over the last week. Mike's letters had been weird over the last few days, like he was afraid of being caught. Sulley had expected to have to sneak into the house where Mike had come through from Monstropolis, but instead he'd recieved a letter saying to wait in his room.
The door creaked open. Sulley stood up and got his bag before moving to the door to pull it open further and peek inside. A grin broke out on his face and with one last look over his shoulder at Room 309, he stepped through the door and it closed behind him.
A quiet sizzle was the only sign that the connection with Monstropolis had been severed. Sulley, at last, had found his way home.
