-There's a large bonfire going on in a clearing Sasarai has made near the New Feather Integration and Welcome Center. It's burning quite nicely and provides a lot of warmth from the growing chill in the air. There's all sorts of food set up, most notable things to make franks and smores (he did his research at the library).-Alright everyone, who ( Read more... )

I will tell a story of one of my ancestors, if you do not mind.

In 1476, an army of demons and undead appeared in Europe. They ravaged the country, showing no mercy to those they faced. They were led by a vampire named Dracula. Eventually, the Church called on a man named Trevor Belmont to face these vampires. This man wielded an enchanted whip called the Vampire Killer. Trevor set off across Europe to Castlevania, the castle where Dracula ruled. On his way to the castle he encountered a man who had been transformed into a beast. He defeated this beast in battle, undoing the curse and revealing that the man was Grant Danasty, a noble thief whose comrades had been killed by Dracula. He joined Trevor on his quest. Next they encountered an enormous Cyclops in a garden full of statues. They both fought bravely, but neither's weapons seemed to have any effect. Exhausted by the battle, Grant threw his final dagger. As it flew through the air, lightning struck the dagger, and the lightning-charged dagger hit the cyclops, killing it instantly. After the battle, one of the statues came to life. It was a priest named Sypha Belnades, who had also been sent by the Church to fight Dracula, but had been cursed by the cyclops. He, too, joined them. Next, the group encountered a vampire, who immediately attacked them. This vampire had the same powers as Dracula, and threw Hellfire at his enemies. However, Sypha created a shield of ice to protect Trevor as he used his whip to defeat the vampire. However, before the vampire was killed, he yielded the battle, and explained that he was the half-vampire son of Dracula, and that he had been testing Trevor. He called himself Alucard, and he, too, joined the group. Finally, the group made it to Dracula's castle. They fought there way through Dracula's army, even defeating Dracula's most powerful servant, Death, and made their way to the throne room where they encountered the Lord of Darkness. With Trevor's whip, Grant's speed, Sypha's magic, and Alucard's Hellfire, they defeated Dracula, putting an end to the war. As they fled the castle, the cowl of Sypha's hood flew back, revealing that Sypha was really a woman, a witch whose family had been killed in witch hunts incited by Dracula's servants. After the battle, Alucard hid himself far away and went into a deep sleep and hasn't been seen since. Grant remained close friends with Trevor. And Trevor and Sypha married and had two children. One inherited the whip and the Belmont name, and the other inherited Sypha's magic and the Belnades name.
