Late Post lol (wtf is that lol about).
Leo was born on 8/24/18.
He such a cool chill baby from day 1. That was literally my first reaction to this little guy. I love him for him and all that jazz but he is such a cool person even though he's so baby. He just got his first took about a week ago and I'm so happy his teething isn't horrible. He fights the good fight by putting literally everything in his mouth, so watch out. But he is still chill about it.
I had to let him cry it out today. He doesn't normally cry. Like once a week maybe. Mostly what you'll get from him is a whine or grumble about food or wanting to be picked up but he mostly just gets dissapointed not sad. I'm happy at how he copes with the world around him so I chose to let him explore it on his terms. He thought I was sleep next to him so he rolled around to play by himself. (so chill)
Just a quick jump back in time a week ago he couldn't roll off his stomach consiously. He always whines I always pick him up but he knows how to roll over. He does it in his sleep in fact all night long. In fact I really chose to leave him to it this time because he can actually pull his body weight up to stand 100% of the time. I couldn't let him be so unprepared for the world so I had to let him figure it out. It was a hard sight he was so wanting help to be rolled over to be picked up. He kept moving in circles around his crib but not rolling over. At the last moment he grabbed a pillow and flipped over and I rushed to him and hugged him and he passed out crying. He can roll over to play now, back to today a week later.
He rolled several times front to back and all around the sleep area. he got stuck under the couch but he was much faster to try and solve the problem himself. In fact he was caught in about 7 or 8 similar traps (getting caught under pillows and blankets ect.) but kept working hard to save himself. I can't baby the baby forever but I'll keep baby that baby till he say I'm not a baby anymore.
One day leo will have apersonal philosophy :)
