Christmas Karma

We're all gearing up for the Holidays. Getting excited! Went to our 2nd parade this past weekend and had a great time. Alex came with us and complained on the way there saying, "don't ask me to come next year," but seemed to be ok with it once the parade got started. The important thing is he went. He and dad took turns holding Bo so he could see everything.

Morgan had a great time! She is amazing. She was concerned for the little girl next to us whom was ignificantly smaller than she is and kept handing her beads and candy in between tosses. Afterward while I explained this to my mother she relayed a story about something that had happened with Morgan earlier that day at Goodwill (I skiped our usual Sat morning yardsale routine to prepare my house for Grams visit). As they were leaving Goodwill Morgan insisted she be allowed to return to the toy section where a few moments earlier she had seen a bully snatch a toy from another little girl and start running. She wanted to go back and make sure the girl had gotten her toy back. Moe was asked what she intended to do about it and she simply said, "I'm older and bigger than both kids and I can sort it out." I feel it was her good intention (intention only cause mom didn't let her go back) and helping the little girl with the parade goodies that led to her good fortune towards the end of the parade later that night. First of all the fact that her dad came is amazing and a reward in itself but towards the end, on one of the last floats was a lady that was handing out stuffed animals and Morgan actually got one. It's not just any plush animal either it is an actual "Russ"!
