The Diary of a Bottom and Homosexuality of The Homeless

So I went to the doctors thinking I had HPV. I do not...maybe I do....they don't know for sure. They also don't know if I Have any fissures, or the big C colon cancer. I know, I know, this is like the second Major Ass Scare for me. If you all remember correctly, the last one involved douching with a public fountain. Anyways. I have to meet with a Rectal Surgeon in a few weeks to get the dilly on the low. Its possible too they said that I might have caught some type of parasite from Belize or Mexico. YUCK. I'd rather the cancer than the parasite.

Now, a log note from work today:

Derogatory Slang: I believe it was Heather that I spoke to, but I overheard someone using the term Dyke in a sentence so I went out to do my “Queer Education” speech when I was told “I know, I’m gay.” For some reason this set me off guard as I ignorantly assumed that there aren’t any gay people in shelter and that I needed to “educate the ignorant straight person”. What a lovely little reality check. At any rate, Jane and I both asked that she refrain from using that word because of the children, with the understanding that she wasn’t being offensive as it is sometimes okay to self identify with words like that. Also, I guess it was my own ignorance to not assume that gay families can be homeless. ~Brad
