prom and other stuff
at work the other night i was making a comment about going to hell for watching the new south park. it is an easter special that is a parody of the davinci code. anyways if you haven't seen it, it is hilarious! well i was talking with some coworkers about this episode and was like "what would it be like standing at the gates of heaven/hell on judgment day". since i was a kid i was told that there is a record of your sins/bad doings that would be "read" to you on judgment day and you would have to confess to them. so i get this really funny image of st. peter reading my sins to me. so i'm like standing there and he's like
st. peter: "micheal, do you remember that time you tony and dustin were riding aroud after it rained and you guys swerved over to splash a girl walking down the street?"
me: (giggling) oh yeah! we did that shit. man. that was funny!
st. peter: micheal, do you remember that time you broke your mother's music box and never told he about it? you just let her find it on her own didn't you?
me: oh yeah! hahaha...i totally got away with that!
the list could go on forever. i guess my point to this story is that if this does happen on judgment day i will be laughing a lot. i'm sure i'll feel bad about the shitty things i did too.
on to prom.
congratulations to andrew and brent our 2007 farmhouse prom king & queen. 1st runners up was tony and jessica and 2nd runners up was me and lindsey. (i guess people voted by couples?) i'm not sure what happened with that. i was pretty drunk by the time the voting went down.
