you'd think they would have better chemistry if they were.

but as I really don't care about who they date IRL, good for them if they are or not. I'm sure Kaley and Johnny probably go a lot better together than Penny and Leonard.

Yeah I would expect better chemistry as well...

I dunno... it kinda makes sense, kinda not. They don't have great chemistry on-screen at all, but there's been a couple of Hollywood couples throughout the years that had no on-screen chemistry whatsoever. (i.e. J.Lo/Ben Affleck, Joanne Woodward/Paul Newman, and a few others I can't think of right now). I think it's a rare occurrence that two actors who are dating come together and have explosive chemistry, perfect example being Angelina and Brad. Almost like it's too much pressure or something, I'm not sure.

That's just my two cents.

Though I will say, I prefer Sheldon/Penny simply because they actually do have great chemistry. It just makes sense to me because they're so good together when they do a scene. Leonard/Penny seems too forced.

that makes a lot of sense. I think it is kind of sweet if they are dating, but I would rather Leonard and Penny...not. Not just to push another couple or anything. I would just rather everyone go back to being friends then have them together because them together is so off-putting.

I guess I'm not too keen on the idea of off-screen couple because of the lack of chemistry onscreen. Even if they are dating, it's kinda odd that they'd feel the need to hide it. They've got nothing to lose. I don't really find this piece of radio gossip really reliable though.
