FAQ: All episodes of #bigbangtheory are taped with a live studio audience (but not aired live).
Tickets for #bigbangtheory are at TVTICKETS.COM -- I don't know if there are any left for the Dec. tapings. Tix avail 30 days in advance.
The bird was a black-throated magpie jay. Sheldon misidentifies it because he doesn't know birds.
No CG effects. Real bird. Same species as the one that hangs out outside writers room window - complete coincidence.
@charlesculp we had a choice of the BTMJ, a pigeon and a crow. The crow was too big, the pigeon too dumb so BTMJ it was.
In the writers room we are prepared for a gavotte, stains. allergies, headaches and warp drive.
I get about 10-15 requests/day to RT for good causes and missions. I don't because it would fill my Twitter timeline. Sorry.

Trivia about 2nite's ep: Lego Death Star was originally in Sheldon's mom ep. When we cut it, the staffers who built it nearly cried.
The Death Star took about a month of staffers using the odd free minute to assemble to 4/5 completion .
No matter how many times I've done it, shooting a show on Tuesday night and then getting up for a table read on Wednesday remains brutal.

here's me and melissa rauch at 5 am this morning doing 3 hours of satellite interviews on about 30 of america's morning talk shows! some live, some recorded...i took a 15 min snooze after reading 3 books to fred, ordered in thai food and am now on mama duty. twilight premiere in effect this evening...
let's be clear about this: on the big bang theory, they dress me in several layers (at least 3) and in clothing at least 2 sizes bigger than i am. it's part of amy's androgynous appeal. i am too much woman for prime time i guess. all the more reason to hire expensive stylists to make me look my normal size for things like the twilight premiere which i am going to on monday night...!
melissa rauch and i are "hot smarts, brainiac babes" in TV Guide's Hot List...my favorite quote they use from me: “The smart-is-sexy notion conjures up collegiate women with their shirts open in Esquire. That’s not the kind of smart-sexy I like to do.” I posed with Zooey Deschanel at the party for it last night. i was suuuper excited, almost cried. don't think she knew who i was but it was fun!
