'The Big Bang Theory': Jim Parsons lends name to museum promotion (video)
December 24th, 2010 11:24 am ET
Just in time for the holiday season, Jim Parsons of "The Big Bang Theory" is looking to do his part to give back -- specifically to his home town of Houston, Texas. In a new video, Parsons does his part to promote the museum district of Houston, a place that literally contains just about everything under the sun that you can hope to see, most of them within walking distance of each other.
One of the best lines from the video is when Parsons claims that he has seen more horses in New York than in Houston, but he has also seen far more art in Houston than New York -- a perfect twist on the old stereotype that Houstin, like most Texas cities, is a radio town first and foremost.
"The Big Bang Theory" is currently on hiatus for the holiday season, but will return for new episodes in early 2011.
What do you think of Jim taking the time to do some museum promotion?
