SAG Awards 2011: 'The Big Bang Theory,' 'The Walking Dead' among snubs
Just as there were a few major surprises during the 2011 Screen Actors Guild Award announcement Thursday morning, we also have to look at a few major snubs.
Specifically, let's look at three shows that were clearly exceptional but received no love at all from the organization:
"The Big Bang Theory" - Jim Parsons won an Emmy earlier this year for his role as Dr. Sheldon Cooper, yet he didn't get any love at all from SAG. It was a competitive category, though, so the only real correction you could make is replacing him with either Steve Carell (who is on a show declining in quality) or one of the "Modern Family" stars, who are each equally deserving. The show also shockingly lost out to "Hot in Cleveland" as an ensemble.
