interesting week
This was another one of those weeks that I figured I'd be reading in a paper rather then living it. Took some more photos and will post them to DA, this week was yellowstone. Left some art for mr Palioni to look at while delivering some stuff to him. And the cream of the crop was friday getting held up by a couple of old farts and them threatening to shoot me. Go up a private road to deliver someone their stuff and on way back down road these two assholes have road blocked with truck. I honk politely once figuring someone had stopped to talk to neighbor, honked again and noticed they weren't paying attention to me. I got out and asked them to politely move truck, by then I knew I was being held up. So I run back to truck as guys were yelling at me, not sure what to do. I am panicked because I have a truck full of packages and I'm running late which these guys were making worse. They approach me and we start getting into a yelling match, they say they are going to detain me for 40 minutes and claim I was speeding through "their" road. I guess they expect people to go 10 MPH through their section. I wasn't going to play their game, and said I was going to move the truck. One of the old bastards was threatening to shoot me if I did. So I went back into truck and called my manager, they claimed the sheriff wouldn't help me because they knew him. I was pumped full of adrenaline by this time and getting edgy, probably running a few minutes on it and starting to shake from it. I threatened to drive through his yard unless he moved the truck, finally I backed up and went to get help from people I delivered stuff to. Any more time there with those two and I was going to do something I would regret. After 50 minutes they pulled truck away and I ended up being stopped by a lady who lived by those two creeps. She politely asked if I could drive slower through that area and I said yes. That was tough, those two stupid 60 year olds in diapers couldn't have done that first instead of going to the extreme? Those two jerks sat there silent as we talked, she had a leash on them somehow. Maybe she broke it to them that they had committed a serious crime. Heard that is considered kidnapping with intent to hard. I can hardly wait to have those two idiots heads on a stick. Lastly spent last couple of days building a mo-ped. Using my old bike from when I was a kid and taking a chinese moped kit I built a pretty nice mo-ped. No directions or anything and just having to build it off know how. The chain and slack adjuster were difficult at first and it kept throwing chain and jamming it into wheel. Finally decided to shortened the chain and just bypass the adjuster. Worked really well and rode it around for a couple of hours today. Wonder how fast it'll go, was cruising around 30 mph at low throttle. Wanted to take it easy till engine is broke in and I have more faith in the chain. How you run an engine in it's first hours of life determines how well it will last. The fuel mileage isn't bad either, 150 miles per gallon. Throw some synthetic mix oil in and no smoke! Sad thing is these kits won't be available anymore as the EPA and granolas are getting their way yet again. I found out about these at a place I pick up from, birddogdistributing. While picking up for fed ex the guy mentioned something about them being the last so I decided to pick one up for 200$ Sure gave me allot of thinking and building to do, loved every minute of it besides getting another sun burn.
