Hate is a strong word...

Ok, so its been a really long time since I've posted, over a month. Alot has been goin' on but i didnt have the time to post really. So, we'll take it in portions, starting with my trip to Arkansas...
I went with my mom, dad, grandma, and brian appleby. It was fun stuff... the car ride there was about 9 hours, a little too long for my liking but ok none-the-less.
Once there, we did a lot of swimming, fishing, PS2, sittin around, eating, and well, other things too. We went out fishing on the lake with a guide one morning at about 5:15 a.m. My dad caught a 10 lb striper, brian caught a 12 lb striper, and well, i enjoyed the boat ride. (i didnt catch anything this trip...) We also did a river fishing trip, where we ended up catching the limit, 15 fish... Right now, all of these fish, are in my freezer, yummmmm. Then, friday, me my dad, and brian went out to get fireworks, i ended up with about forty dollars worth, and blew them all up that night. Brian got alot of buy-one-get-one-free stuff, (smart man) and only ended up spending about 20 bucks for the same type stuff i bought, and the same amount... then the next day, was the car ride home, and later that night, i went to the 3rd of july fest-thingy in burbank with Chris Bogue... good times.

The next morning, i left around 5:30 for owasippe, a camp i've gone to every year for, well, about 5 years. It is almost always the best week of my summer (usually year too) and this week was no different... here is, more-or-less, the play-by-play...

SUNDAY
We ended up getting there around noon-ish and we set up our camp, and went for the annual (but dreaded) swim test in the olympic-size-hested-by-the-sun-pool... wich was about 68-70 degrees, (not warm enough) then went on the tour of the camp with a bunch of little shits who i had to watch over and keep inline because the kids in charge were at a meeting (Andy Bogue and Tom Slowinski)We all then ditched the opening fire, for fireworks (and some people were looking for/were promised woman)... to explain that last bit, Owasippe is a camp filled with about 200-plus guys... NO GIRLS. well, we ended up getting lost and there were no fireworks/woman.

MONDAY
Not much happened in the day time, but that night me and some other awesome people, went over to a neighboring camp, camp renecker "GO FOR IT"... This is a family camp... wich means girls, we went there for an ice-cream social... a good time was had by all...

TUESDAY
I dont think anything happened here...

WEDNESDAY
To quote a great man, Andy Bogue, i have "One word SILVERSIDES"
The u.s.s. silversides is a permanently docked submarine... we go there and spend the night on it, eat pizza, watch movies, stay up all night, defeat the scottish in war, and well... pretty much whatever we want... but this year was different, the camp renecker "GO FOR IT" teen group of girls was there... to say the least, some people were made happy, and had a great time... and some people, such as max, got pissed because other people, like tom, got... well, lets just say they had more fun...

THURSDAY
Thusday was a day filled with walking... me and a few other people, ended up making about three - four walking trips to Renecker, just to "hang out" with family/friends/girls/black widdows, the usual... during one of the "walks" andy and max followed "the road less traveled",,, literally... they found an old path that looked like noone went on it... then they walked it, along the way they met up with a bunch or potheads who were stoned off their @$$E$ (thats right, i cudnt find an "e") that ended up to be one of the better days there...

FRIDAY
I went to Renecker with the adults to shower in the morning (one of many showers i took :) ) After showering, me and one of the adults were sitting on swings waiting for the other two people to get out when two girls i met on silversides, Stacy and Michelle, came over to talk again before they left for home... and after andy got out of the shower, he came down to talk as well. Stacy's dad came out of his cabin and just stared at us/them... then Stacy and Michelle waved to him... so i asked, "should i wave?" and i was told yea go ahead... then this impressively agressive looking man(Stacy's dad) came down the hill towards us/me... (keep in mind one of the adults is still sitting right next to me) and he comes down by us, Rudy, the adult, says hi and the man says goodmorning, i say hi to him, and he says "Excuse me, did you need something from me?" i replied no then he said "why did you wave then?" i said "i dont know, i just kindof felt like waving..." and then i got this response along with his finger pointed at me "Be careful what you ask for son..." and then he walked away... Now i feel im a reasonably bright young man... but i cudnt, for the life of me, relate what he said to the conversation, i had no idea what it meant... so if anyone out there can help me understand, (Stacy i think this one is on you) it would be greatly appreciated... Later that night was the closing campfire where Andy Bogue was the mc, and all groups are to do a skit and/or song... my group did a skit called the blindfarmer and the spacechicken... Andy Bogue was the blind farmer, and i was the space chicken. It is a greatly non-sensicle script written by tom molloy... it was a beutifulo production of it in my opinion.

SATURDAY
Woke up in the morning, packed my crap, shoved it in my brothers car, said my goodbye's, and hit the road by 7:45 to come home... ended up ariving home around 12:00-ish...

And to once again almost quote Andy Bogue, Well, to all of you who made my experience this year awesome (michelle, stacy, tom, andy, max, veronica) Thank you, we must talk more....

Later that day... about 1-2 hours later, i left with family to St. Louis for the cubs/cards game... so sunday we went to the game and then a bar type place for drinks and pizza... The next day, we didnt do too much, but we went to our new hotle, and me and my cousins swam, and played some arcade games, including the simpsons, pool, airhockey, and the always classic claw machine... The next day, we all went to Six Flags St. Louisits a relatively small park, but very fun none-the-less... and because the temperature outside (with heat index) was around 103 degrees, noone else was there, and we ended up walking onto every ride there...(except screaming eagle, because it broke down, and we waited while they fixed it...) The next morning, we started the trip home, and stopped at Cracker Barrel for breakfast/lunch and then arby's for dinner... so in the past two-and-a-half weeks. i've spent a good... 37-38 hours in a car...
Well, thats all i have to say right now, and about my last like three weeks, thats my story, and im stickin to it...
