JBL/Boogeyman was grand, and 1/4 of the show was taken up with the usual good Benoit/Booker match. The rest of the show...wasn't. I had my doubts about the main event when I looked at the clock and saw it was quarter to 10, then said to myself, "They should have just enough time for the main event." Only to see Lashley vs. Vito.

FUN FACT: I actually did the math, and found out that Benoit and Booker T wrestled in at least 14 televised matches in WCW during 1998. They also had two tag matches during that year (Harlem Heat vs. Benoit & McMichael) and were in World War III together, although I'm unsure if they made contact. They also wrestled in two matches in 2002 (one was the epic eight-man tag on Raw where Kevin Nash tore his quad, the other a singles match), and, up to tomorrow night, have fought each other in six matches this year (four singles, one the four-way US Title match from No Mercy, the other the six-man match for the Smackdown Championship, where Benoit was defeated with the Divine DDT). Add the upcoming seven matches (presuming it goes to seven), and that comes out to Benoit and Booker facing each other 32 TIMES since 1997. (That's just televised matches, too. House shows don't count.)

My point: Chris Benoit and Booker T have fought each other a lot.

Fun Fact - During Smackdowns opening match, I thought to myself "I like both of these guys, but they've wrestled each other too many times. I'm bored of seeing it". I...wasn't best pleased by the announcement (Although it will be infinitely better than the last "best of" series Booker was involved in).

And Lashley wrestled OJ.
