Dream | 04 | Egao Happy Peace~
((OOC: The song this dream is based off on is Rena's character song Egao Happy Peace))
The sun is shinning, the birds are singing, and Rena can be seen setting up a picnic basket in an open grassy field. Finished, she stands up to admire her work. “Hau, I hope everyone enjoys what I’ve made for them! Rena worked so hard to make everything extra tasty~” There is a little skip to Rena’s walk as she then goes to tell her friends the picnic is ready.
It's picnic day today
Let's all make bento together
Octopus-shaped sausages all gather here
I wonder if a yellow fried egg will be good?
Let's make hamburgers with affection
The dream fades back in to show a bunch of people now sitting at the picnic with Rena. To her left sits a girl with long green hair tied up into a ponytail (Mion), a young girl with her blue hair sprawled everywhere (Rika), and to the right, a boy with brown hair (Keiichi) and girl with bright blond hair (Satoko) who are having a contest to see which of the two can eat the most food.
“You’re going to lose, Satoko! And I can’t wait to choose your penalty game when you do!”
“Oh ho ho ho ho ho~!!!” Satoko laughs maniacally, “We’ll see about THAAAAAT!!” She yells as she smacks Keiichi’s newly acquired beef patty out of his hands.
“Hey! That’s against the rules!”
“There were rules~? ♥” Satoko smiles “sweetly”.
As Keichii silently glares at Satoko, the others just laugh at this common display.

The dream now shows Rena searching for something in a huge abandoned mound of trash. In her arms she’s cradling a scarecrow head.
“Haaauuu, Rena can’t believe she was able to find you on the way here~! Will you help me find Kenta-kun, Straw Head-san? Will you?” Rena coos as she continues climbing over the mountain of trash.
“Hmmm, I was sure he was right around here somewh-WAAHH!” She gets cut off mid-sentence when she trips, landing face first into another lovely pile of trash. “O-ow…” Looking up Rena finds herself face to face with none other than her beloved Kenta-kun.
“I found you!!! I found you again!! Haaauuu, Rena is going to take you home~!!” She scrambles to her feet and cuddles the large statue.
My eyes twinkle heart-shapes
I found something cute
I want to have that big Kenta-kun
It's different from trash
It’s treasure (isn’t it?)
I keep saying 'Wow-' and 'Hauu-' and I can't stop
Is it weird? I just love cute things
It's ok, right? I want to take it home (hauu) please laugh and forgive me
It then begins to rain and Rena rushes into a broken trailer that’s buried amongst the trash. Once safely in, she turns on a small burner lighter and the viewer can tell that she’s been here before as the inside is decorated with posters and has a few nick knacks lying around. She curls up with her knees against her chest and peers out the window to watch the rain. “I wonder when it’s going to stop.”
She closes her eyes for a bit when suddenly a knocking noise is heard. “Eh?” She looks up to see Keiichi standing outside the trailer holding an umbrella. Quickly, Rena reaches up to open the latch. “Keiichi!? What are you doing out here?”
Keiichi grins at her. “I figured you would be here searching for treasure. I couldn’t just let one of my best friends be alone in the rain.” He holds out his hand to her. “Here, lets go home.”
Rena stares at him for a moment before a big smile covers her face and she nods happily. “Mmm! Lets go!”
Even on cloudy days, too, my heart dances

The next scene is blurry but if the viewer squints, they can see the silhouette of a girl standing alone in the dark. A faint voice can be heard saying, “I’m sorry.” over and over again. It starts out soft and slowly starts to get louder and more repetitive. The silhouette then starts walking away from the screen and seems to be holding a very large object in their hand. The screen goes black for a second and then the dream continues.

The scene is now a classroom and Rena is walking over to sit next to Keiichi, who has his head down on his desk.
“What’s wrong, Keiichi? Why do you have your head down I wonder, I wonder?”
Keiichi glances up at Rena, looking rather tired. “Oh, hey Rena. It’s nothing. I just didn’t get much sleep last night…”
Rena furrows her eyebrows in concern. “How come? Was your pillow uncomfortable? Did you have a nightmare maybe?”
Keiichi glances down at the last comment. “It was nothing..."
"If Keiichi doesn't want to talk about it that's fine. Just know that I'm here if you do."
He lifts his head up and smiles sadly at her. "Thank you, Rena. That means a lot."
Rena reaches back behind her to get her bento box. "Here." She pushes it towards Keiichi. "You can have it if it will cheer you up~"
"Rena...you don't have to..." She shakes her head. "You can have it, it's fine."
Keiichi hesitantly takes the chopsticks before starting to eat. "Wow! This is great Rena!"
Rena just smiles.
