[Rena looks down and lets out a very small sigh. She knew this question was unavoidable, what with the dream she just had and her younger self showing up. After a pause she looks back up.]

Reina was what my name was originally, the name my mother gave me when I was born. But...my mother did some things I can never forgive her for and when I moved back to Hinamizawa I wanted to cut all ties I had to her, permanently. So that's why I changed my name, the name given to me by her. It wasn't much of a change but...I feel that it was enough.
