HOLY DANE COOK!!!
So last night which would be 25th Monday 2005 me and 3 of my friends from the navy heard about DANE COOK! Coming into town! And by mean town I mean he was 3 hours away! SO we after work called the ticket office got the tickets and headed that way. The original plan was to take my friends car which broke down in the parking lot 7 spaces from where he was parked! So....Drew's plan of getting hammered in the back seat changed to driving there and back! So we are off and I'm taking NoDoz and taking a couple of shots here and there in the car on the way as my friends are getting shit faced in the back seat of my truck. So we end up getting lost and my friend "McCormick" Gets all pissy and I give him some NoDoz you know to perk him up a little bit. So this mother fucker takes 8! Yeah 8 at once and he is bouncing off the fucking walls. We pull over to pee in this golf course cause we are incredibly lost and my friend starts stealing shit off the golf course. So we get to the show like an hour in a half late but thanks to my mom we would have never made it cause we called when the show started and she gave us directions from over 800 miles away! So long story short the show is over and we heading back to the door and the next thing you know one of the comedians we saw is signing then all you here is "WHOOOOOO DANE WE LOVE YOU" And we are like holy crap! And we try to get in line but they pretty much told us "hey no way its going to be like a 3 hour wait! And then my friend McCormick goes up to DANE COOK's MANAGER! and is like, "Hey man we are in the navy and all we want is one autograph cause we have like a 3 hour car ride and we have to work in the morning" then Dane comes right to us cause we just so happened to be standing right next to his signing table! And then his manager is like "hey these guys are in the navy sign them FIRST!" AND THEN FUCKING DANE COOK STARTS HIGH FIVING US LIKE HE HAS KNOWN US FOR YEARS He is shaking our hands telling us how much we rock and then all these video cameras are taking us. He is signing our shirts our hats anything and everything we can give him to sign. And as DANE COOK is signing my favorite shirt HOW FUCKING COOL IS THAT! My friend shouts so loud in a drinking hilarious fit as the only 3 cameras near Dane turn to him and the boom mike operator prepares to capture exactly what he is about to say, "HEY DANE I'D ASK YOU TO SIGN MY TANT BUT I THOUGHT IT WOULD BE A LITTLE UNAPPORPREATE" The whole place just busts out laughing Dane is like on the ground and the camera guys are laughing. Then we leave and shout so loud how fucking awesome our experience with the best comic ever was! so sweeeet
