If I wanna say how much I enjoyed Christmas Clash, the title says it all.
My brother and I arrive at Terri's Lounge, and we set up the whole thing, ring and all.
I had been informed that The Basher signed my brother and me in a match. Our first match, mind you. We were scheduled to face Nite Shyft and Zero. We got through the ideas for the match, and they suggested old-school moves, which was great for first-timers like us.
After all the discussion, it was go time. We were the heels, they were the faces. Nite Shyft got the edge at first, and my brother, after recieving his third arm drag, scattered to my corner, and I patted his chest saying, "It's OK, man. Let me at 'em." I cannot deeply get this into detail, but the only thing I can say about it is that we got our asses kicked. At the end, my brother had been bleeding from the mat wound on his elbow. OUCH!
Then the Clash begun, and there to emcee the Clash was none other than The Power Trip (BOOOOO!!). My brother and I used the same jobs, me as ring announcer and my brother as a ref. He reffed one of the biggest matches in MWO, the tag team title match. The Power Trip vs. the champions Bad Intentions. He made a controversial decision by signaling the bell for a submission when the Basher's foot was on the ropes. When it was all said and done, The Power Trip had captured the titles (Double BOOOOO!!).
Afterwards, there was a post-clash party, and it featured food like green beans, spaghetti, potato wedges, and more. We got a christmas card exclusively from the Basher, simply wishing us Happy Holidays, which was cool.
Now today I have a show entitled MFW Christmas Chaos. It's not that I'm OBLIGATED to be there, but I want to be there, since these guys need the help more than we do. It's been two months since I've seen some of the MFW superstars, and I can't wait to see them again.
That's all for now so I'm out, dudes.
