WEEKEND
Last nite-
Took the metra from Naperville to Chicago with my favorite girl. Sushi in downtown chicago with Jen V and Ben, a wonderus platter of seafood delight. Then proceeded to The Bottom Lounge to see Murder By Death. Awesome SHOW! The venue was a hybrid of the globe meets mad planet. The fact that it was an over 18 show meant that there werent too many uber young wannabe scenesters. The 3 openers conisted of POPSICK, RUSSIAN CIRCLES, AND THE REPUTATION. Popsick was ok, kind of cross between The Rapture and Squeeze with a guy the wanted to be Conor Oberst. Russian Circles was AWESOME....Cross between The Silence and Poison The Well. The Reputation kind of sucked. Murder By Death was amazing...hypnotizing to watch......got home 330 am ......slept.....now its fathers day...berta is alphabetizing her books......ben hitting on andi.......you know the usual.......
