Day 5

So what can't I put in to the temple that is my body?

Coffee - yeh, right. Have pulled back from three to two a day.  But I can't even make coffee before I've had a cup of coffee in the morning.  One San Francisco morning I was taken by the beauty of my morning bowl latte.  So taken that I decided to photograph it.  Turned into an exquisit act of artistic maschocism as I observed my coffee in detail for quite some time but couldn't drink it.  Never take photos before the firsat cup of coffee.

Tea - Not too cut up about this, but disagreeon principal.  I am a lot drinking a range of green and herbal teas to make up for it.  So my new collegues think I'm a poof.

Alchohol - Have actually cut down - and not as a result of the cruel lesson served to harrismint recently. Drinking vast quantities of water and mineral water, which is very....Zen, in a river-flows-through-me kind of way.  If I had a pedometer I'd be able to tell you exactly how far I walk to the loo, but I bet its kilometres.  My collegues are starting to think I'm a poof with some kind of mechanical weakness (probably acquired as a result of "practices" *raises eyebrows meaningfully*).  The up side is it reminds me to take micro pauses, and it is proving more effective in getting me out of bed in the morning than the alarm clock.

Root vegetable - I need to watch my intake of vegies.  We're going gang-busters on red cabbages, spinach, bok choy, celery and capsicum, and going light on taties, carrots and parsnips. Fries are out. Oh dear. How sad. Never mind.
