somebody slap me

Sweet Jesus. I am procrastinating SO bad right now. I bet I'm setting some kind of world record. Do you think I could get into Guinness for procratinating proficiency? I should look into it. It would allow me to procrastinate even further. Here's what I'm avoiding doing: studying for my latin midterm and anthro midterm on monday, my classical greece midterm on tuesday, my behemoth of a paper for classics 390 due thursday, and all the random work and reading in between that I should do now so I'll have time to cram last minute later. Oh, and laundry. I really should do my laundry. I have like two weeks' worth of clothes molding merrily away in my closet. Though I did get three whole pages of my paper done last night, which makes me feel marginally better. But not that much better. Just enough so that I can tell myself I accomplished something so I deserve to take a break. Though the break really should have been cut off at the 20-hour mark. I think I have looked at every single photo album that exists on facebook. I mean it. I also went to buy chips and salsa to 'stretch my legs' and get a breath of fresh air...even though we already have chips. I am a very tragic person. I should be slapped, right now. I think it's even harder to concentrate because there's nothing to break up the monotony. Nothing to look forward to later, you know? At least if a good show was on tonight, I could tell myself, ok write 2 pages by the time Desperate Housewives comes on and then you can take a break. But alas, I have nothing to motivate me.

The guy in the mailroom was really snippy with me today. It wasn't the normal guy who was there, but I think he's training minions to do his bidding--his very own power-tripping mailroom bitches. All I want is my package!! Although I suppose I now have another excuse to procrastinate--go back there and see if the mail's been sorted. Though by the look of New Bitchy Mailroom Guy it's a job that'll take him several years to complete. So, about the same amount of time it'll take me to stop procrastinating.
